I am an intuitive, abstract artist, specialising in large scale, commissions artworks. I am passionate about creative processes and surface texture. Experimentation is the basis from which I create and design each work of art, always beginning with expressive, playful mark making. Then many layers of paint are smeared across the surface with wide, gestural movements by utilising spreader tools. The adventure, for me, is about plunging into the unknown possibility that each blank substrate presents. I Make Interiors Exceptional
My abstract paintings are highly favoured amongst the high end interior and architectural markets, especially the Estuary Series. I utilise unusual materials, such as Xanthorrhoea resin together with acrylic and enamel paint to create wonderful, organic nuances with this particular series.
The deep, chunky, clean edged supports upon which I paint on, make the ideal structure for the larger works for expansive contemporary spaces.
My commissioned works are custom built to the space, light source and take into consideration the furnishings, elevating the status and ambience of the home, office or corporate interior.
