AWAKENING - coming alive again, emotionally, mentally and spiritually after a five year long season of debilitating pain and loss from a family tragedy. The exhibition was put together during the Covid 19 lockdown in March, 2020 and launched in August, at Lost Eden Creative Space, Dwellingup, WA
With no time constraints or busy schedules, I was able to spend quality time in my studio, painting with intuitive, experimental processes. It was a wonderfully refreshing and liberating experience; I pushed aside all concerns and expectations of what I considered others wanted from my art practice and just painted from my heart with a restored sense of deepening joy.
